PMO Manager

London | Hybrid | Permanent | Up to £85,000 - £95,000 + Bonus + Benefits

This is a brilliant role working with top people - however before we start I have to stress we need the following:

  • Sector experience: Engineering, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, industrial services, energy, utilities or another complex project-led environment.
  • PE-backed experience would be a big advantage.
  • Experience of building up or leading an exit / sale / IPO.
  • Experience of leading and setting up a PMO function.

If you don't tick the sector experience it will likely be a rejection. Sorry to be brutal!

We’re partnering with a rapidly scaling global engineering and project services business to find an experienced PMO Manager.

It’s a complex, international and highly project-led business with major transformation and strategic initiatives happening across the Group.

This is a newly created role reporting to the Group CFO, with real scope to build and shape the PMO capability from the ground up.

The Role

This is much more than project coordination. You’ll be helping to build and shape the PMO capability while working across some of the Group’s most important strategic projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Building and developing PMO frameworks, governance and reporting across the Group.
  • Managing the portfolio of strategic projects and helping drive successful delivery.
  • Bringing structure and consistency to multiple projects and workstreams across different countries.
  • Producing clear reporting, dashboards and insights for the Executive Team and Board.
  • Tracking milestones, risks, budgets, dependencies and overall project performance.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to drive accountability and keep projects moving.
  • Improving PMO processes, reporting, tooling and project governance.
  • Supporting transformation, operational improvement and other strategic initiatives as the business continues to scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
