We are looking for an experienced PMO Manager to build and lead the project management function within a growing global aerospace logistics business.
This is a hands-on transformation role responsible for establishing the governance, project controls, systems and reporting required to deliver an expanding portfolio of strategic projects. You will maintain the consolidated view of portfolio status, milestones, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies while ensuring projects remain aligned with the company’s value-creation plan. A significant part of the position will involve leading the integration of acquired businesses across people, systems, processes, customers and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the company’s PMO function
- Own the consolidated view of the change and transformation portfolio
- Establish project methodology, standards, templates and stage-gate governance
- Chair project and portfolio review meetings
- Implement controls across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and change
- Track project benefits and challenge initiatives that are not delivering
- Develop a repeatable acquisition-integration framework
- Lead integration projects for newly acquired businesses
- Own the company’s OKR and performance-management framework
- Select and implement project portfolio and OKR technology
- Produce accurate reporting for executives, investors and the Board
- Lead or oversee technology and systems implementations
- Coordinate facility openings, relocations and consolidations
- Support operational and continuous-improvement programmes
- Recruit, lead and develop project managers and the PMO team

What we are looking for
You will need substantial experience managing a PMO, project portfolio or complex programme environment, supported by strong project governance and project-control capabilities. You should have a proven record of delivering complex transformation projects on time and within budget, together with the confidence to work with executives, investors and operational leaders. Experience leading post-acquisition or M&A integration would be particularly valuable. Candidates from logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, aviation, aerospace or another regulated international environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, monday.com or Planview would be beneficial. A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or APM PMQ is desirable.
