We're supporting a leading global financial institution as they continue to deliver a large-scale regulatory transformation programme. This role sits within a Markets Transformation team and will play a key role in driving remediation activity across a high-profile portfolio of work.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / PMO professional who can confidently engage senior stakeholders, challenge delivery updates, identify emerging risks and ensure critical regulatory commitments remain on track.
The successful candidate will operate across multiple functions and product lines, helping to drive accountability, improve reporting quality and deliver successful outcomes in a fast-paced and highly visible environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role will be part of the projects team, and you will be responsible to:
- Manage project plans, risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
- Track programme progress against key deliverables and deadlines.
- Facilitate engagement across Markets businesses and product teams.
- Drive delivery activities and ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
- Identify potential risks and issues before they impact programme delivery.
- Coordinate stakeholders across business, technology, compliance and control functions.
- Escalate concerns and delivery blockers where appropriate.
- Support governance forums and senior management reporting.
- Promote best practice project management disciplines across the programme.

To be successful for this role, you will be expected to possess the following skills/experience:
- Proven Project Management or PMO experience within Financial Services, preferably in a capital markets environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail whilst maintaining oversight across a complex programme.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders across large organisations.
- Ability to drive progress and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery.
- Strong planning, governance and reporting experience.
- Experience working with Compliance, Technology, Audit, Risk or Control functions.
