PMO Specialist
Fully Remote | Up to £60,000
A growing consultancy specialising in helping organisations adopt and govern AI securely is looking for a PMO Specialist to join its delivery function.
This is a key hire for someone who can bring structure, control, and consistency across a busy portfolio of client work. You will sit at the centre of delivery: coordinating projects and client activity, keeping governance on track, and making sure the wider delivery team has the clarity it needs to execute well.
This is not a purely administrative PMO role. You will need to be confident dealing with clients, able to spot where a project needs more structure, and comfortable taking ownership of the processes that keep delivery moving.
The Role
- Coordinate multiple client projects from mobilisation through to delivery and closure.
- Establish and maintain strong project governance, including plans, RAID logs, reporting, actions, dependencies, and decision tracking.
- Act as a key link between clients, project leads, and the internal delivery team, ensuring requirements and next steps are clear.
- Support project planning, resourcing, status reporting, and regular governance meetings.
- Identify delivery risks, blockers, and gaps early, escalating them appropriately and helping to drive resolution.
- Bring consistency to how projects are run as the consultancy continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a PMO, project coordination, project support, or delivery operations role.
- Strong understanding of project governance and the practical controls needed to keep projects on track.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and clients in a professional consultancy environment.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities without close supervision.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for project updates, reports, and documentation.
- A technology, IT, security, or professional-services background would be useful, but the right project governance experience is more important than a particular technical stack.
