Are you an organised HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy delivering high-quality administrative support, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring people processes run smoothly? If so, this could be your opportunity to join Novo Nordisk as a P&O Assistant supporting our UK organisation and helping deliver an outstanding employee experience.

Your new role

As a P&O Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering operational HR support across the UK organisation. This is a highly hands-on position where attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and the ability to manage a broad range of activities are critical to success. • Provide HR operational support across employee administration, benefits administration, reporting, payroll-related activities, audits, invoices, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain high-quality employee data and support reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK employment and GDPR requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR systems, policies, and operational queries.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, challenging existing processes when appropriate, and helping improve the employee experience.

Your new department

In People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs, you will be part of a team that enhances employee engagement and attracts top talent to ensure Novo Nordisk remains a premier choice for exceptional individuals. Together, we foster an inclusive workplace culture that empowers individuals to thrive, and supports our mission to make a positive impact on people's lives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
