Administrator | Pre-Assessment |Spire Claremont | Sheffield | Competitive Salary
Permanent, Part Time | 20 Hours Per Week| 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Spire Claremont Hospital are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to work in the Pre-Assessment Department on a 6-month fixed term contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forward planning from the Clinic and TCI lists to ensure that minimum data set (Medical Records, Booking Form, GP referral, GP clinical summary are on site and available for the patient’s pre-operative assessment appointment and the date of admission.
- With the help of the clinical team ensure all short, dated bookings < 7 days patients are captured and minimum data set (Medical Records, Booking Form, GP referral, GP clinical summary are available as above
- Ensuring absolute accuracy with notes, associated clinical pathways, labels, and all other mandatory paperwork as per check lists.
- Maintain hospital and departmental electronic and manual filing systems accurately.
- Use track file to receive and return medical notes to all departments.
- Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policies.
- Assistance with capturing ePOA questionnaires by contacting all patients
- Booking of mini clinic appointments
- Capturing GP summaries for all POA patients and file in medical records ahead of POA.

Who we're looking for:
- Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills
- Track record of successful delivery in a similar role, in an office and / or customer service environment
- System literacy is essential and detailed knowledge of PSS preferred.
- Knowledge of the healthcare market
- Excellent communicator.
- Must be accurate and have an attention to detail.
