The audioXi Podcast Network is currently scaling up by launching new shows owned and operated by Bauer Media, as well as partnering with established third-party networks. We are seeking a passionate and driven Podcast Account Director to help us expand our footprint and build strong advertiser relationships in this fast-growing space.
Location: This role will be a blend of office and home working, the office location is in London.
About the role:
As Podcast Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across the audioXi Podcast Network. Reporting into the Podcast Lead, you’ll promote and sell sponsorships across our existing shows, help launch new titles, and build strong relationships with clients and agencies. You’ll own your sales pipeline, work closely with internal teams, and position audioXi as the go-to destination for podcast advertising. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a scaling division within Bauer Media that has bold ambitions for the future of audio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the sales pipeline for all podcast sponsorship opportunities
- Develop and grow relationships within a specific agency patch to generate briefs and drive revenue
- Build prospecting lists and identify new business opportunities through internal systems and market insight
- Lead the pitching, briefing, education, and activation of podcast sponsorship campaigns
- Maintain a deep understanding of all podcast shows within the audioXi portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored podcast briefs and strengthen the podcast narrative across assigned agencies
What You'll bring:
- A genuine passion for podcasts and digital audio
- In-depth knowledge of the podcast and digital audio advertising landscape
- Established relationships with key stakeholders at major media agencies
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude and strong organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident and engaging presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing business
