About the Opportunity
The Autistic Culture Podcast Network (ACPN) has received funding from the Bristol Pride Community Fund to produce a four-part podcast series celebrating the lives, identities, and experiences of LGBTQ+ Autistic people in Bristol and the surrounding area.
We're looking for a queer Autistic creative based in or around Bristol who would like to help develop and host this series.
Previous podcasting experience is welcome but not required. We're particularly interested in someone who is curious about people, passionate about storytelling, and excited to amplify voices within Bristol's queer Autistic community.
What You'll Do
- Help shape the creative direction and themes of a four-episode podcast series.
- Host conversations with LGBTQ+ Autistic people in Bristol and the surrounding area.
- Identify compelling stories, guests, and perspectives from the local community.
- Collaborate with ACPN on episode planning, recording, and production.
- Help create an authentic audio portrait of queer Autistic life in Bristol.

Who We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who:
- Identify as both LGBTQ+ and Autistic.
- Live in Bristol or the surrounding area.
- Enjoy storytelling, interviewing, listening, or exploring community experiences.
- Have an interest in queer culture, Autistic culture, and local history.
- Would like to develop their skills in podcasting and audio storytelling.
No professional podcasting experience is necessary. We welcome first-time creators, emerging storytellers, and people with unconventional backgrounds.
