Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Podiatrist role based in York. The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of podiatric conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting patient consultations
- Performing routine and specialist treatments
- Managing biomechanical and gait assessments
- Prescribing or modifying orthotic devices
- Diabetic foot screening and management
- Patient education on foot health and prevention
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Collaborating with colleagues to support high standards of care

The Podiatrist is expected to contribute to a welcoming clinical environment and uphold infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Podiatry, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat common and complex foot and ankle conditions.
- Proficiency in Biomechanics and Orthotics, including gait analysis, functional assessments, and prescribing or adjusting orthotic devices.
- Experience in managing Diabetes-related foot issues, including risk assessment, ulcer prevention, and ongoing monitoring.
- Recognized degree in Podiatry (or equivalent) and eligibility for relevant professional registration/licensure.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with evidence-based podiatry practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and ability to work effectively within a clinical team.
- Attention to detail in clinical documentation and adherence to infection control and health and safety standards.
