Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Podiatrist role based in Acaster Selby. The Podiatrist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, including routine footcare, nail and skin pathologies, and musculoskeletal issues.

Daily responsibilities include:

- Conducting patient consultations
- Developing treatment plans
- Performing podiatric procedures
- Advising on preventative care and ongoing management
The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver consistent, patient-centered care. The Podiatrist will also contribute to the clinic’s reputation by providing a welcoming, professional experience and staying up to date with current best practices and treatment modalities.
Qualifications
- Relevant podiatry qualification (e.g., BSc in Podiatry or equivalent) and current professional registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common podiatric conditions, including routine care, minor procedures, and biomechanical evaluations.
- Strong patient care skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and keeping up to date with new treatment modalities and footcare products.
- Ability to work independently within a clinical setting, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation.
- Understanding of infection prevention, health and safety standards, and risk management in a podiatry or clinical environment.
- Experience in private practice or community clinic settings is beneficial, along with interest in contributing to a high-quality, patient-focused service.
