Job Description: Experienced Podiatrist Wanted in the Cayman Islands

A well-established private practice in the Cayman Islands is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The practice is known for its high standard of patient care, collaborative culture, and strong reputation across the islands. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment while enjoying the exceptional lifestyle that comes with living in the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of foot and lower-limb conditions.
  • Deliver routine podiatric care including nail surgery, wound management, diabetic foot assessments, biomechanical evaluations, and orthotic prescription.
  • Manage and treat patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and circulatory disorders, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate follow-up.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures within the scope of practice and clinic capability.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with Cayman Islands regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to patient education, preventative care initiatives, and community health awareness where required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Recognised degree in Podiatry from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a clinical podiatry setting.
  • Proven capability in diabetic foot care, biomechanics, orthotics, and minor podiatric procedures.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Cayman Islands Health Practice Commission.
  • Current professional licence/registration in one of the following jurisdictions: UK, Canada, USA, Jamaica, South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
