About The Role
We have an opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our service on a part-time, ongoing basis within Wiltshire.
The role is 16 hours per week, delivered across 2 days / 4 sessions. Pay: £50–£55 per hour, depending on experience.
This is an opportunity to work as an autonomous practitioner, providing high-quality podiatry care to patients with a range of foot and lower-limb conditions.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Podiatrist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose and manage a range of podiatric conditions.
- Provide routine and preventative podiatry for patients unable to self-care.
- Manage a varied caseload, including general podiatry, nail surgery and biomechanical needs.
- Develop and deliver appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide clinical advice, education and self-management support.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and appropriate clinical documentation.
- Identify and refer patients where further investigation or specialist input is required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare and multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional standards, patient confidentiality and appropriate boundaries within a secure environment.

What We'll Look For In You
- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
- Experience assessing and treating a broad range of podiatric conditions.
- Confidence working autonomously and managing your own caseload.
- Experience in routine podiatry and foot health management.
- Experience or an interest in nail surgery and/or biomechanics.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A professional, compassionate and non-judgemental approach.
- Commitment to clinical governance, CPD and high-quality patient care.
- Previous secure/prison healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.

What You Can Expect From Xcel Health
- £40–£55 per hour, depending on experience.
