Role Description
The Podiatrist will provide high-quality clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves close monitoring of patients with diabetes and other long-term conditions, as well as advising on preventative care, rehabilitation, and footwear. The Podiatrist will collaborate with colleagues, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to continuous improvement of clinic services. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our clinic in Maldon.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and practical skills in Podiatry and general Medicine relevant to foot and lower limb care.
- Expertise in Biomechanics, including gait analysis, musculoskeletal assessment, and functional movement evaluation.
- Experience in prescribing, fitting, and managing Orthotics and other therapeutic footwear solutions.
- Competence in assessing and managing Diabetes-related foot complications and high-risk patients.
- Recognized degree or equivalent qualification in Podiatry and eligibility for relevant professional registration or licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered, non-discriminatory care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, manage caseloads, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and staying current with best practices and clinical guidelines.
