Our specialist practitioners act exclusively for the police service, representing a diverse range of forces across England and Wales. As the largest dedicated police legal team in the country, our lawyers have been involved in some of the most high-profile and significant cases involving the police service over the last 15 years.
We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Police team in Leicester, Liverpool, or Manchester.
Responsibilities
As a Paralegal, your primary role will be to provide assistance to senior case handlers in the Police Claims team. You will be provided with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of claims against the police. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Assisting fee earners with various tasks including general case management, legal research, drafting of witness statements and reports to clients, and preparation for court hearings
- Attending client meetings and court hearings to support fee earners
- Assisting with the instruction of Counsel and experts
- Responding promptly and accurately to correspondence and telephone enquiries from clients and other parties, with and without supervision
- Achieving set financial and chargeable targets
- Supporting the team’s business development activities
