Hybrid working: Preston, or remote-based with travel to Preston
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE | 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced pensions professional with Police & Fire pensions knowledge? We're looking for a Police & Fire Pensions Training & Capability Lead to own and deliver our Police & Fire pensions learning and capability programme, helping colleagues build the technical expertise, confidence and behaviours needed to deliver outstanding service to our members. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a strong background in Police Pensions, Firefighters' Pensions, Local Government Pensions or Public Sector Pensions Administration who is passionate about developing others.

What you'll be doing - You'll lead the design, development and delivery of our end-to-end Police & Fire pensions learning curriculum, supporting colleagues through:
- New starter induction and onboarding
- Technical Police & Fire pensions training
- Continuous professional development
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Leadership and capability development
- Skills accreditation and competence frameworks
Working closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts and quality teams, you'll use performance data, quality assurance findings and regulatory or scheme developments to create targeted learning interventions that improve colleague performance, technical accuracy and member outcomes.
What we're looking for - We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience in:
- Police Pension Scheme administration
- Firefighters' Pension Scheme administration
- Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
- Public sector pensions administration
- Technical pensions training or coaching
