Role Description
The Policy and Community Researcher (PT) will conduct policy-focused research on issues affecting minority ethnic and faith-based communities, including data collection, literature reviews, and analysis of social and economic trends. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Designing and implementing research projects
- Preparing reports and briefings for internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to policy recommendations that support social inclusion and community cohesion

Responsibilities also include:
- Engaging with community organizations, service providers, and decision makers to gather insights and support evidence-based advocacy
- Supporting consultancy and training work by providing research inputs, developing presentations, and participating in stakeholder meetings
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in High Wycombe, with some work from home acceptable.
Qualifications
- Strong Policy Research and Research skills, including experience designing studies, collecting data, and synthesizing findings.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and draw clear, evidence-based conclusions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written reporting, presentation abilities, and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of Economics or related social sciences, particularly as they relate to social policy, community development, and service delivery.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., degree in public policy, sociology, economics, social sciences, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Experience or strong interest in working with minority ethnic and faith-based communities, and an understanding of UK social policy contexts.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with common research tools and software (e.g., spreadsheets, qualitative analysis tools, or statistical packages) is beneficial.
