Overview

VTG has an exciting opening for a Policy and Strategy Analyst SME to support a large customer organization in the fast-growing National Security Group. This position is located in Bethesda, MD. Candidates must currently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.

What will you do?

Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:

  • Be able to contribute meaningful input to Cybersecurity policies.
  • Developing and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
  • Conducting critical path analysis, risk analysis, and task dependency analysis.
  • Developing security requirements and constraints to provide input to foundational technical documents, including program architectural artifacts, business cases, and concept of operations.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations for Security related issues.
  • Firm understanding of the Cybersecurity requirements across the IC.
  • Understanding of National Security Systems initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the IC policy update process.
  • Familiarity with DNI structure and processes.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Do you have what it takes?

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with IC policies and authorities.
  • Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
  • Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
  • Experience in ATO process.
  • Experience partnering across the IC.
  • Experience in Risk Management.

Pay Range: VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $175,000-$195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
