Why this role is important to us

At Experian, policy governance helps ensure we operate responsibly and follow our strategic goals. As our Policy Enablement Manager, you'll help evolve our Global Policy Framework. You'll guide digital innovation and help colleagues across the business better understand and apply policy requirements. We will achieve this through technology, automation, and AI.

This is a home-based role reporting into our Senior Controls Advisory Manager.

Work that matters – What you'll do

  • Lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of Experian's Global Policy Framework, standards, and policy lifecycle.
  • Partner with Executive Risk Owners and Policy Owners, providing governance expertise and guidance throughout the policy lifecycle.
  • Promote the development of AI-enabled services, including the Global Policy Assistant, to enhance employee access to policy guidance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve governance through automation, digital technologies, and process optimization.
  • Monitor policy performance, manage business change impacts, and lead programs that improve efficiency, consistency, and partner experience.

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • Experience in policy governance, operational risk, internal controls, governance, or enterprise risk management.
  • Track record delivering business transformation, continuous improvement, or operational excellence projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and able to engage with senior leaders across a global organization.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled services, governance technologies, or digital solutions would be advantageous.
  • Programme, planning, and project management capability meeting strategic priorities to achieve operational delivery.

More about you

  • Strong background in policy governance, operational risk, controls, or enterprise risk management, with the ability to apply governance principles pragmatically.
  • Credibility to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
  • Planning, project management, and continuous improvement skills, from concept through to implementation with self-motivation to manage competing priorities.
  • Technology and AI savvy, with experience advocating GPT-enabled tools, automation, and digital solutions to enhance governance, efficiency, and employee experience.
