Department: Strategy

Location: London

Description

Help shape the insight, policy thinking and partnerships that support London’s economy to grow in a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive way.

London & Partners is looking for a highly organised and proactive Policy Executive to join our Policy and Impact Team, part of the Strategy and Small Business Directorate.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the team that helps London & Partners understand London’s economy, influence policy thinking, and develop ideas and interventions that support growth across the capital. The Policy and Impact Team works to maximise the impact of London & Partners’ activity by producing high-quality research, insight and policy work that helps improve delivery programmes and supports London’s long-term economic success.

As Policy Executive, you will provide essential coordination, project and delivery support across the Policy team. You will help ensure advisory boards, webinars, stakeholder engagement, research activity and internal processes run smoothly and professionally. From organising meetings and events to maintaining contact databases, tracking actions, preparing briefings and supporting policy research, you will be at the heart of a busy and influential team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, and is confident working with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels. You will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, producing clear written communication, handling sensitive information professionally, and keeping projects moving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Tasks

You will support the Policy team across a range of activities, including:

  • Coordinating advisory board meetings, including scheduling, invitations, agendas, joining instructions, minutes and action tracking.
  • Supporting the delivery of webinars and online meetings, including registration processes, Zoom and Teams set-up, breakout groups, follow-up communications and event summaries.
  • Maintaining accurate stakeholder and contact information in Salesforce, working with colleagues to create lists and campaigns where needed.
  • Undertaking desk-based research to support policy, stakeholder mapping, evidence gathering and horizon scanning.
  • Helping the team track London and national policy developments and summarise relevant updates.
  • Supporting project management across the team by tracking milestones, deadlines, risks and actions.
  • Preparing briefings, presentation materials and other documents that support the team’s work.
  • Providing wider administrative support, including SharePoint filing, procurement support, team meetings, action logs and away day coordination.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
