Officer of Senior Vice-President and Registrar and Secretary
About The Role
This full-time post is offered on a fixed term basis to cover maternity from 1 December 2026 until 31 January 2028. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
The starting salary will be from £34,630 Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
Please note: if you have already applied for the permanent Policy Officer role currently advertised and would also like to be considered for this vacancy, there is no need to submit a separate application. About You
This position offers an exciting opportunity for those wishing to develop their career in student casework. We are looking for a committed and resilient individual who has the required experience and skills to join our busy team. This post requires candidates with a high level of initiative, the ability to synthesise information and reach reasoned decisions on the evidence available. You would be required to work effectively with a wide variety of colleagues from across the University and communicate with a range of audiences.

You will provide a high level of support and advice to colleagues across the University and will become an expert in Casework policies.
The successful applicant for this post will have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and of working independently to deliver an outstanding customer service experience. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and ideally have experience of casework in this or a similar compliance related background.
