Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Policy Specialist.

Location:
Mostly remote with some travel to Edinburgh.

Duration:
Four month contract – can extend.

Rate:
£300 - £375 a day / inside of IR35.

Sector:
Public Sector / Energy department.


Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Policy Specialist to support work relating to the audit of the ScotWind leasing process and associated matters.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide expert input on policy development, governance arrangements, and decision-making processes, with a particular focus on the relationship between public sector bodies.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of government policy development.
  • Ideally a background in marine planning and/or offshore wind policy.
  • Expert knowledge of governance arrangements between public sector bodies.
  • Experience supporting audit, review, assurance, or scrutiny activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical, and reporting skills.
