Our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Polisher / Automotive Polisher to join their busy team in Cold Meece.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle polisher with a strong eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality finishes. You will be working on a range of vehicles, carrying out polishing and finishing work to a high standard.
The Role
As a Vehicle Polisher, you will be responsible for preparing and polishing vehicle bodywork, ensuring vehicles are finished to a high-quality standard.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out vehicle polishing and paint polishing
- Machine polishing and cutting vehicle paintwork
- Removing scratches, swirls, imperfections and paint defects
- Carrying out paint correction and finishing work
- Preparing vehicle bodywork for final finish
- Using polishing machines, compounds and other detailing equipment
- Inspecting finished work to ensure a high-quality finish
- Working alongside vehicle technicians, bodyshop technicians and paint sprayers
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Following company health and safety procedures

About You
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Vehicle Polisher, Car Polisher, Automotive Polisher, Paint Polisher, Vehicle Detailer or Bodyshop Polisher.
You should have:
- Previous professional vehicle polishing experience
- Experience using machine polishers and polishing equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of vehicle paintwork and finishes
- The ability to identify and correct paint imperfections
- A high standard of workmanship
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience within a bodyshop, vehicle dealership, automotive repair centre, vehicle refurbishment or automotive manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
