Political Expert | Embassy | Fluent Arabic Essential | London
Elva Partners is supporting an Embassy client with the appointment of an experienced Political Expert to join its London-based team.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in politics, government, public policy, international affairs, or political analysis, who can provide clear, well-judged insight into UK and international political developments.
Full professional fluency in Arabic and English is essential, including the ability to produce high-quality written work in both languages.

The successful candidate is likely to be operating at Director level, broadly equivalent to Grade 6 / SCS1 level or above within the UK Civil Service.
Their background is likely to have been gained in one or more of the following environments:
- Government, including the Civil Service, diplomatic service or political advisory roles
- A leading think tank or policy institute
- Political journalism or political commentary
- A policy, political risk or research consultancy
- A diplomatic or international affairs environment

This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone comfortable producing high-level political analysis, briefing notes, and policy papers, and working closely with senior stakeholders on sensitive, fast-moving issues.
The position is based in London and offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of political, policy, and international issues.
