At Trinity Partners, we are delighted to be partnering with a high-performing independent secondary school to recruit a Politics Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting January 2027 (or sooner for the right candidate).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and academically ambitious school with a strong sixth form provision, excellent results, and a commitment to developing students into informed, critical thinkers who engage confidently with political and social issues.
The Role
As a Politics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 5, teaching A-Level Politics to students of varying abilities and aspirations.

- You will join a supportive and well-resourced Humanities department that is dedicated to academic excellence and providing students with a deep understanding of political systems, ideologies, and contemporary affairs.
The successful candidate will be expected to inspire students to develop strong analytical, evaluative, and communication skills while achieving outstanding outcomes at A-Level.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking to speak with Politics specialists who can demonstrate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Politics or related subjects (ideally from Russell group universities)
- Experience teaching A-Level AQA and/or OCR Politics and Government.
- Strong subject knowledge across UK and US politics, political ideologies, and contemporary political issues.
- A passion for fostering debate, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity
- Strong A-level results record.
