Key Responsibilities
- Learn to perform routine and complex sleep studies using a variety of diagnostic techniques and equipment.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
- Assess patients’ clinical status, monitor progress toward goals, and assist with sleep studies and CPAP operation.
- Accurately document and communicate patient results to support the plan of care.
- Explain procedures and therapeutic modalities to patients and families.
- Recognize critical situations, apply appropriate judgment, and troubleshoot equipment issues while seeking assistance when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent achievement required.
- Ability to complete an accredited polysomnographic training program.
- Must obtain the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential within one year of hire.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or successful completion within one month of hire.
Salary Range: Minimum $17.11/hour - Maximum $27.37/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
