The Role

Overview

We are looking for a friendly, attentive and hardworking Pool Attendant to join our team. As the first point of contact around the pool and wellness areas, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, relaxing and exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the pool area and provide a warm, professional service at all times.
  • Ensure poolside areas, loungers and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
  • Set up and arrange sun loungers, towels and guest amenities.
  • Monitor the pool and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety and adherence to facility guidelines.
  • Carry out regular checks of changing rooms, showers and public areas, replenishing supplies as required.
  • Assist guests with enquiries and provide information about hotel and spa facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards or concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
  • Support the wider spa and leisure team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation in line with company expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, leisure or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
