We are Hestia. We make a difference.

At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Pool Worker to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs service in RBKC.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The Pool Worker role is responsible for providing high quality, person-centred housing related support to young people aged 16-25 who are leaving care, homeless, or at risk of homelessness. The post holder will work closely with service users to help them develop independent living skills, sustain accommodation, and achieve their goals in education, employment, training, and personal development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering support and safety planning
  • Conducting one-to-one keywork sessions
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Carrying out housing management duties such as rent collection and tenancy administration
  • Working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure service users receive coordinated and effective support
  • Promoting service user involvement, community engagement, and compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
