Assessments (COA) Capabilities

This client-facing role will focus on developing strategic relationships and generating revenue opportunities across registries, observational Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies, health systems, academic research, digital health organizations, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, payers, and national health systems throughout EMEA and North America.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Population Health leadership to identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
  • Leverage the full breadth of IQVIA's capabilities to create integrated solutions for clients.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach with a deep understanding of healthcare research and evidence generation.
  • Engage effectively with a diverse range of senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of IQVIA's COA business across the EMEA and North America Population Health market.
  • Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities within:
    • Observational RWE studies
    • Patient registries
    • Health systems research
    • Academic research collaborations
    • Digital health initiatives
    • Population Health programs
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with:
    • Academic researchers and institutions
    • Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies
    • Healthcare providers and health systems
    • Payer organizations
    • National healthcare systems
    • Digital health companies
    • Patient advocacy organizations
  • Serve as the primary client contact for assigned opportunities and accounts.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Achieve revenue growth targets and contribute to overall Population Health sales objectives.
  • Expand opportunities by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities across IQVIA's broader offerings, including Population Health, Linguistic Validation, Licence Brokerage, and related solutions.
  • Partner closely with internal subject matter experts to develop compelling client solutions.
  • Develop strategic account plans and territory growth strategies across EMEA and North America.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within Population Health and real-world research.
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships that drive repeat business and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with delivery, operations, and subject matter expert teams to ensure successful transition of sold opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline while ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, consulting, or account management experience within healthcare, life sciences, research, or related industries.
  • New business generation and pipeline development.
  • Experience working with Real-World Evidence, Population Health, Outcomes Research, Registries, Clinical Research, Digital Health, Health Economics, or related sectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong consultative selling and strategic account management skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives and decision-makers across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and close complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to adapt engagement approaches to diverse customer personas.
  • Experience working across multiple countries and healthcare systems
