The Blakeney Hotel
The Blakeney Hotel is an award-winning, four-star, 64-bedroom, privately owned, and family-run hotel located in an unrivalled position on the Quay in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team of Hotel Porters to create a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, whilst maintaining a clean and presentable environment for our guests to enjoy.
Role of the Porter
- Greeting and serving guests refreshments, whether in the bar, sitting rooms, or outside on the terrace overlooking the Quay.
- Assisting guests with their luggage.
- Dealing with guests' queries and ensuring guests' needs are met, or exceeded, at every opportunity.
- Serving afternoon teas.
- Ensuring the front of house areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Assisting with the cleaning and presentation of outside areas.
- Assisting in other areas of the hotel, as required.

Role would suit candidate with:
- A polite, courteous, and positive attitude.
- A friendly, courteous, and helpful nature.
- Experience in hospitality (preferred)
- A high standard of personal presentation.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.

Working Hours
Straight shifts covering early (7am-3.30pm) mid (10am-6.30pm) and late (3.30pm-11pm) including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Due to our location, where public transport is very limited, having your own transport is essential to be able to commute reliably to and from the hotel.
