We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Account Manager to join our team based in our Widnes office.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual who is driven by success, enjoys speaking with customers and is eager to build a career in sales. Previous sales experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, determination and willingness to learn.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will focus on developing high-potential customer accounts, increasing customer engagement, growing product sales and identifying new business opportunities across key product portfolios

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Develop and grow high-potential customers through proactive outbound customer contact, achieving clear revenue targets.
  • Increase customer activity, trading frequency and product penetration across designated portfolios.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Sales colleagues to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and opportunities within Salesforce, Q and other business systems.
  • Manage daily activity levels to ensure a strong pipeline of customer opportunities.

  • A passion for selling, resilient, positive and motivated by achieving goals.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone every day, building strong relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Eager to learn and can work effectively within all levels of the organisation.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve results.
  • You must be organised and able to prioritise with effective time management skills.
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
