Portfolio Analyst
Leicestershire/Hybrid
Up to £45k depending on experience
Do you have excellent attention to detail when it comes to data analysis, insights, reconciliation, and reporting? Ultimate Banking are partnering with an established, market leader in mortgages and savings as they seek a Portfolio Analyst to join their Strategic Planning and Customer propositions team.
In this key role, you will be supporting the successful delivery and oversight of the organisation's lending activities, through detailed portfolio analytics, reporting, financial reconciliation, and data assurance. The Portfolio Analyst will ensure internal stakeholders have accurate, timely, and meaningful information to support decision-making, oversight, and governance.

Duties will include:
- Support the effective oversight and performance management of the organisation's inorganic lending portfolios.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful portfolio analytics to support operational, commercial, and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of portfolio data through robust reconciliation, validation, and assurance processes.
- Analyse lending volumes, balances, profitability, yield, arrears, redemptions, customer outcomes, and other relevant performance measures.
- Translate complex data into clear commentary, visual reporting, and actionable insight for stakeholders.

The successful individual will possess:
- Strong analytical experience within financial services.
- Previous experience/exposure in financial reconciliation, accounting control, or finance operations processes.
- Experience producing management information, performance reporting, and analytical commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Power BI experience would be highly desirable.
Our client offers a hybrid approach to the working week, with 2 days based at head office and the remainder working remotely. They offer a competitive salary, along with a generous benefit package.
