Salary: £28,026.00 per annum
The Portfolio Assurance Team at IronOak Homes are looking for a Portfolio Assurance Officer to be part of a team, to support the delivery of IronOak's Audit & Assurance Framework by working closely with the Portfolio Assurance Manager to provide accurate, timely, and effective assurance against the organisation’s service delivery. The postholder will play an important role in maintaining compliance records, supporting inspection activity, monitoring remedial actions, and ensuring robust assurance logs are maintained.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Completing desktop compliance inspections of third-party partners and internal departments.
- Reviewing documents and records against policies, procedures, contracts, and operational expectations.
- Preparing clear findings reports for review by the Portfolio Assurance Manager.
- Maintaining inspection schedules, assurance logs, action plans, and supporting evidence.
- Monitoring remedial actions, following up progress, and escalating overdue items.
- Producing management information, dashboards, performance reports, and presentations.
- Providing administrative support to the Portfolio Assurance Team and helping improve inspection processes.

The successful candidate will need to have the following attributes:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work accurately to deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a confident approach to stakeholder contact.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- The ability to analyse information, identify discrepancies, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
