The Role
The EPMO ensures that the vision and strategy produced by the PRS Board and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) is converted into change initiatives that enable delivery of corporate objectives and business outcomes, whilst highlighting strategic risks and opportunities to facilitate informed decision making.
The Portfolio Business Partner serves as the liaison between the EPMO and business units, ensuring alignment of change initiatives and business outcomes with organisational objectives.
The role holder will be responsible in enabling lean portfolio management by connecting business strategy with agile execution. They support effective planning, governance and performance tracking of Portfolio matters, working closely with stakeholders across assigned business units to understand business unit goals, optimise investment decisions and create value for our members, customers and colleagues.

Our transformation portfolio includes a wide range of initiatives involving systems, process and people change, focusing on ensuring that colleagues have the right information, tools, knowledge and support to work in new ways. This may involve identifying opportunities for improvement, developing new processes and procedures, implementing new technologies or systems, and providing training and support to ensure that all stakeholders are prepared to adapt to the changes.

Responsibilities
As our Portfolio Business Partner, some of your day to day duties will include…
- Partner with business leaders to identify, assess and prioritise initiatives and business outcomes that align with strategic themes and goals
- Ensure consistent application of lean portfolio management principles, frameworks, tools and best practices to support effective prioritisation and value creation
- Co-facilitate quarterly planning, OKR/KPI and roadmap alignment to measure outcomes, benefits and impact in partnership with the Senior Portfolio Business Partner
- Enable collaborative, cross-functional, informed decision-making through effective portfolio systems e.g. Kanban
- Provide insights & recommendations to Head of EPMO based on portfolio analysis

About you

- Demonstrable experience in change delivery, business partnering or relevant PMO related role
- Expert understanding of all technical and non-technical aspects of Portfolio management and delivery
- Demonstrably strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
- Experience working in matrix management environments
- Agile certifications such as SAFe, Portfolio / Programme Management qualifications desirable
- Background in scaled agile environment across platforms / products desirable

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:
- First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
- Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.
- We use competency-based questions within our interviews. This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. To assist your preparation for interview, research the STAR method to aid bringing your examples to life.
Location
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
