Role Description
The Portfolio CFO UK is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the financial performance of a portfolio of business units or clients within the UK market. This role includes leading financial planning and analysis, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting for decision-making and compliance. The Portfolio CFO will partner with senior leadership and client stakeholders to develop financial strategies, optimize cash flow, and support sustainable growth. Daily activities involve analyzing key financial metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions, and providing clear, data-driven insights to non-finance stakeholders. The role also includes establishing and refining financial processes, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and contributing to strategic initiatives that strengthen the financial health of the portfolio.

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret data, support business decisions, and drive portfolio performance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and regular management reports.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA) are highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in a senior finance or CFO-level role, ideally within logistics, e-commerce, or fast-paced service industries, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, proficiency with financial software and reporting tools, and a track record of improving financial processes and performance.
