3 months contract with a local authority Rate: £333.93/DAY Umbrella
Summary
This role involves leading the effective start-up and closure of housing management contracts, ensuring a smooth transition of services, residents, assets, systems, and operational duties. The position is crucial for executing complex projects within set timelines, budgets, and governance structures, while minimising any disruption to residents, stakeholders, and operational services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the transition of housing management, compliance, resident services, assets, and operational functions for contracts covering approximately 1,300 mixed-tenure homes.
- Ensure seamless service transfer while upholding compliance and customer service standards.
- Manage the complete exit process for contracts involving around 300 homes, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and assets, records, and responsibilities are correctly transferred.
- Support business continuity and reduce operational risks during the transition period.

Requirements
Essential Experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale mobilisation and demobilisation projects.
- Background in social housing, property management, housing services, or related fields.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments, including senior leaders and external partners.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Professional Project Management certification such as:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- APM PMQ
- PMP
- MSP
Additional Information
- Contract Duration: 3 months with a local authority
- Rate: £333.93 per day (Umbrella)
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week
- Location: Building 800, Kent Science Park, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8GU, United Kingdom
- Work Pattern: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Office attendance required as business needs dictate
- Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly
