Vercity have identified the need for a proven SPV / PFI Portfolio Director to lead our outstanding operational delivery teams across a range of high profile projects across London and the UK.
Lead a high-performing portfolio of SPV projects, driving operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, resource optimisation, and commercial performance across a diverse portfolio. Working as part of the senior leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping service delivery, governance, and future growth. Alongside your operational expertise, your commercial acumen and stakeholder & team management skills will be paramount.
The Role
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to a portfolio of SPV operational teams and projects.
- Drive operational performance, governance, and assurance activities in line with company standards.
- Optimise resource deployment, workforce planning, and service delivery across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, investors, and project leadership teams.
- Lead project mobilisation activities and support the integration of new contracts into the portfolio.
- Deliver commercial objectives through effective budget management, performance improvement, and identification of growth opportunities.

Experience Required
- Proven senior leadership experience managing complex portfolios, programmes, or multi-site operations.
- Extensive experience within the MSA delivery within PFI/SPV contracts is essential and experience within acute healthcare settings is a major advantage.
- Strong track record of delivering operational excellence, governance, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading and developing large, geographically dispersed teams, including performance and talent management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, including clients, investors, and executive teams.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, resource planning, and business performance targets.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and change management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across functions.
