About The Role

As Head of Portfolio Sales for the RX Creative Portfolio, you will be responsible for inspiring, leading and managing the sales operations across a portfolio of exhibitions and trade shows, including London Book Fair, MCM Comic Con and Bar Convent Berlin. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive sustainable revenue growth, and maximize sales opportunities. You will coach a team of sales professionals, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and building strong relationships with clients and industry partners. This is a leadership position that requires exceptional sales expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic sales plans to grow revenue across the portfolio.
  • Use data and market insight to identify opportunities, optimise customer segmentation and improve sales planning.
  • Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on new business, value-based proposals and effective use of Salesforce.com.
  • Build strong client, partner and industry relationships to deliver outcome-focused solutions and growth opportunities.
  • Manage sales pipelines, forecast performance and communicate trends, risks and opportunities clearly.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, creating an inclusive and engaging environment.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, finance, pricing, brand leadership and international teams to deliver successful exhibitions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, sales management and revenue growth.
  • Experience in a competitive, fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Exhibition or media sales experience is desirable in both B2B and B2C
  • Collaborative approach, with experience working across functions and cultures.
  • Growth mindset, with the ability to adapt, take appropriate risks and learn quickly.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills.
  • Organised and entrepreneurial, with strong consultative sales skills.
