About the job
Working directly with the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will support the launch and day-to-day management of the fund across portfolio management, quantitative analysis, risk management, and operations. You will contribute to investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, strategy development, and risk oversight, while gaining exposure to all aspects of running an investment fund.
As part of a small and growing team, you will also help build the processes, controls, and infrastructure required to support the fund's launch and ongoing growth.
This role offers significant responsibility and a unique opportunity to develop both investment and business-building skills within a fast-growing asset manager.
We are looking for someone who is highly numerate, naturally curious, and willing to roll up their sleeves. Attention to detail is critical, and no task is beneath anyone at BlueBridge.
What we do
BlueBridge is a client-focused, independent asset manager seeking to deliver predictable outcomes across risk, return, and liquidity. We combine analytical depth with a boutique mindset to build alternative investment strategies designed around the specific needs of investors.
Our fund management business focuses on making accessible liquid alternatives to our clients. We work closely with clients and counterparties throughout the investment lifecycle, from idea generation and execution through to ongoing support and education.
What you will be doing
Working alongside the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will support investment research, portfolio management, risk oversight, and the successful launch and operation of the fund. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure to all aspects of building and managing an investment fund.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
