About the team

In the CapMan Real Estate team we execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income focuses on well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles.

Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 80 committed real estate investment professionals. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and value creation, we have established a solid reputation for delivering exceptional results and are dedicated to driving superior returns for our investors.

About the Role

As an Intern in the Real Estate team, you will participate in various activities relating to institutional real estate portfolio management (c. 60% of your time) and fundraising (c. 40%), and your tasks can include e.g.:

Portfolio Management

  • Supporting the Fund Director with portfolio management tasks and financial modelling
  • Producing portfolio analytics and conducting market research
  • Assisting with investor reporting and responding to investor enquiries
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and automate the above tasks using AI

Fundraising

  • Creating/updating presentations and pitch materials to support fundraising efforts
  • Attending investor meetings and keeping log of meetings
  • Conducting research to support fundraising activities
  • Keeping the data room up to date

Who you are

To be successful in this role we believe that you:

  • Have a strong academic record and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, Real Estate or English (or close to completion)
  • Have strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have strong proficiency in AI tools (e.g. Claude)
  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Have the ability to write and communicate in a structured manner in English
  • Are based and have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a humble, hands-on attitude towards work

Relevant work experience is a plus but not necessary.

Our recruitment process

We hire for potential as well as experience. While certain skills and qualifications are important, we believe the ability to grow, adapt, and bring new perspectives matters just as much. Our recruitment process consists of a combination of screening questions, short online assessments, interviews and case studies.

This internship is a fixed-term, full-time contract for preferably c. 5 months for Spring 2027. The start date is flexible and agreed together with the selected candidate.
