Ready to build the future of cyber insurance?

About us:

Assured was founded on the core belief that exceptional people will shape the next chapter of cyber insurance. We are the only insurance brokerage in Europe dedicated exclusively to cyber, helping large organisations understand, manage and insure one of the fastest-growing risks they face.

Since launching in 2021, we already support more than 400 large enterprise clients, including 28 publicly listed businesses. Our revenue grew 120% last year – achieved with a sales team of less than ten people. And we’re still just getting started. 43% of UK businesses suffered a cyber breach last year, yet around half still have no cyber insurance in place. We believe that gap creates an excellent opportunity to build an industry-leading business at speed and at scale.

We have the ambition, experience and backing to do this too. Our founding team has a track record of taking UK businesses from start-up to the FTSE-250, with our objective to IPO in 2029. But for us, the opportunity is not just about what Assured can become. It is about what the people who build it can become as well. Joining us at this stage, means the chance to take ownership early, and for those who make a significant contribution, there is also meaningful equity options.

We are building Assured for people who want more than a job. If you’re ambitious and talented this is an opportunity to help shape what comes next and earn life-changing financial rewards in the process.

The opportunity:

Assured is on a mission to transform the cyber insurance industry. Joining our sales team puts you at the forefront of that journey, building your own portfolio of large enterprise clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You don’t need to have worked in cyber, insurance or even sales to be successful here. What matters most is attitude. We hire for the core characteristics that allow people to thrive in an environment we have deliberately built: hunger, resilience, conviction, and coachability.

This is a 360-degree commercial role. You will be responsible not only for winning new business, but for developing the relationships you create and growing their value over time. That starts with understanding prospective clients, researching their businesses and engaging C-suite decision-makers through targeted cold calling. From there, you will work alongside our brokers, cyber specialists and advisory team to understand complex risks, develop the right solutions and build enduring relationships.

The model is designed to reward long-term value creation. You’ll earn commissions across the lifetime of any client you bring into Assured, meaning your earning potential will compound as your portfolio grows, reinforced by a client renewal rate of 98%.

Portfolio Manager:

Key responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers across large businesses, using cold calling as your core outreach
  • Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses, commercial priorities and cyber risks, positioning yourself and Assured as trusted advisers
  • Own the full sales process, from prospecting and research through to deal development, placement, renewal and long-term account management
  • Approach every client interaction with curiosity and commercial awareness, recognising that opportunities are often won and lost on the details
  • Work closely with our senior brokers and the advisory team to build tailored cyber risk and insurance solutions
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the client lifecycle
  • Take ownership of your portfolio, developing long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to deepen them over time
