Job Title
Five Sigma helps investors, originators and asset owners execute, monitor and scale private-credit and asset-backed-finance transactions through specialist advisory services and ABIDE, its proprietary asset-management platform.
We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially minded, and self-driven Portfolio Manager to support the management of funding, liquidity, and investment activities across a range of liquid, structured and private credit portfolios.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing investment strategy development and execution, enhancing and improving existing workflows, driving operational efficiencies, and contributing to the continuous development of portfolio management processes.
Key Accountabilities
Treasury Management
- Manage daily liquidity across multiple portfolios and funding vehicles.
- Execute treasury transactions including cash investments, funding drawdowns, repayments, and transfers.
- Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short, medium, and long-term liquidity requirements.
- Ensure funding requirements are met efficiently while minimizing liquidity risk.

Trading & Portfolio Execution
- Execute portfolio trades across cash products, fixed income securities, and eventually securitisation-eligible products.
- Coordinate settlement of trades with counterparties, custodians, and operations teams.
- Monitor trade lifecycle from execution through settlement.
- Assist with portfolio rebalancing and optimisation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate trading records and documentation.
Portfolio Management Support
- Support Senior Management with investment implementation.
- Analyse portfolio cashflows, funding costs, and performance metrics.
- Monitor covenant compliance across financing facilities.
- Produce portfolio and treasury reporting for senior management.
- Assist in evaluating new investment opportunities and funding structures.
Risk Management
- Monitor liquidity, interest rate, counterparty, and funding risks.
- Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate liquidity or operational risks where appropriate.
- Support stress testing and scenario analysis.

Candidate Experience
- 7 to 10 years' experience within Treasury, Portfolio Management, Trading or Structured Finance.
- Experience managing cash, liquidity, or funding activities.
- Understanding of fixed income products, loans, or structured finance transactions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using Bloomberg, treasury management systems, or trading platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Experience within Private Credit, Asset-Backed Finance, CLOs, ABS, or securitisation markets.
- Understanding of IFRS 9 or expected credit loss methodologies.
- Knowledge of warehouse financing structures.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
- CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience working with portfolio management systems such as Bloomberg & Intex.
