Title: Client Accountancy Practice Manager

Location: North London – Hybrid / Remote

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience


Our client is an established North London accountancy practice looking to appoint a qualified Client Accountancy Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns and other compliance work.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including businesses with £10m+ turnover.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients.
  • Manage team workloads, deadlines and workflow.
  • Review work prepared by junior members of the team.
  • Support and develop staff.
  • Liaise with HMRC and external parties where required.
  • Assist with corporation tax, management accounts and general practice work.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Strong experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong statutory accounts and VAT experience.
  • Previous team management or supervisory experience is essential.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Confident dealing directly with business owners and senior client contacts.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS or similar.
