Title: Client Accountancy Practice Manager
Location: North London – Hybrid / Remote
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Our client is an established North London accountancy practice looking to appoint a qualified Client Accountancy Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and other compliance work.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including businesses with £10m+ turnover.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients.
- Manage team workloads, deadlines and workflow.
- Review work prepared by junior members of the team.
- Support and develop staff.
- Liaise with HMRC and external parties where required.
- Assist with corporation tax, management accounts and general practice work.

Candidate Requirements

- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong statutory accounts and VAT experience.
- Previous team management or supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
- Confident dealing directly with business owners and senior client contacts.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS or similar.
