The Opportunity
A leading global multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking an exceptional Delta One Portfolio Manager to join a relatively new and strategically important business division.
The division is led by a highly successful hedge fund veteran with an outstanding industry track record. It combines the backing, infrastructure and balance sheet of an established global platform with the entrepreneurial environment of a developing business. This is a high-priority hire offering considerable autonomy, access to institutional resources and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the division.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding a scalable Delta One strategy. Depending on the individual’s expertise, the mandate may include:
- Index rebalancing and event-driven index strategies
- Equity financing and relative-value strategies
- ETF arbitrage
- Futures, swaps and synthetic equity strategies
- Dividend, financing and corporate-action opportunities
- Systematic or quantitatively driven equity strategies
- Cross-market and capital-structure relative value

The Portfolio Manager will have access to the firm’s global trading infrastructure, technology, data, risk management capabilities and institutional relationships.
Candidate Profile
The firm is interested in established Portfolio Managers, senior traders or experienced proprietary risk-takers who can demonstrate:
- A strong and repeatable track record within Delta One
- Consistent risk-adjusted returns across different market conditions
- A clearly defined and scalable investment process
- Deep knowledge of relevant market structure, financing and execution
- Strong portfolio construction and risk-management discipline
- The ability to operate effectively within a sophisticated multi-manager environment
- High standards of integrity, collaboration and commercial judgment

Candidates may be considered individually or with an existing team. The platform can support discretionary, systematic or hybrid investment approaches.
Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive package, including:
- A 20% payout
- The potential for a substantial sign-on payment
- The potential for a multi-year guaranteed compensation arrangement
- Significant resources and capital for candidates with a compelling and scalable strategy
Final economics will reflect the candidate’s track record, existing contractual position, team requirements and expected capital deployment.
