Job Requirements

Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree and/or professional designation(s) (e.g. CFA, FRM) strongly preferred
- Ten or more years of portfolio management experience, with strong understanding of emerging market debt, specifically EM Alternatives in its various iterations.

Skills and Abilities
- Proven and demonstrated ability to deliver market leading investment performance with ongoing awareness of peer group and industry best practice.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing a top down and bottom-up investment process that harnesses macro expertise of global capabilities along with the security selection and research expertise of an internationally resourced team.
- Evidenced alignment with a team-based investment led culture that delivers against performance/commercial objectives with client focused and collaborative behaviours.
- Excellent investment leadership skills with evidence of ability to drive towards investment decisions, seek healthy conflict and harness the breadth of talent in a global EMD team.
- Pro-active participation in media engagements, thought leadership and industry forums to drive brand awareness and enhance our external footprint.
- Proven experience in working with sell side liquidity, trading and research partners to drive investment and commercial outcomes and objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to construct high-performing portfolios utilizing rigorous portfolio construction and risk techniques aligned to client investment policies, risk profiles, and return objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present investment views clearly to senior management, clients, prospects, and internal partners.
- Strong understanding of internal risk, compliance, control, and regulatory environments.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to partner effectively with operations, sales, marketing, compliance, risk, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, meet demanding timelines, and maintain strong attention to detail

Referenced Salary Location
- Location: London, UK
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary range is expected to be between £104,000.00 GBP - £184,500.00 GBP
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
