We’re Hiring: Portfolio Manager | Permanent | Hybrid
Our client is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their Planning and Portfolio Team, providing dedicated analytical and operational support across their Transformation & Change Portfolio.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with experience in transformation, change, technology, PMO, portfolio management, resource management or analytical environments, who enjoys working with stakeholders to turn data into meaningful insight and support effective portfolio-level decision-making.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in centralised resource management, with responsibilities including:
- Resource data quality and management
- Portfolio reporting and dashboard development
- Utilisation and capacity management
- Resource forecasting and planning
- Producing insight to support portfolio-level decisions
- Working closely with project teams, resource owners, delivery leads and enabling functions
- Collecting, validating and improving management information
- Building strong internal networks and driving engagement across delivery teams

Our client is looking for someone who brings rigour, structure and a proactive, relationship-led approach to resource management.
You’ll need to be comfortable taking ownership, building relationships, asking the right questions and leading conversations to ensure accurate and timely information is available to support planning and delivery.
About You
We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience within transformation, change, technology, PMO, portfolio or resource management
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels
- Experience managing and improving data quality and management information
- A proactive, collaborative approach with strong initiative
- The ability to work independently while building effective relationships across teams
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Role Details
- Location: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford
- Working Pattern: Hybrid – 20–40% of contractual hours worked from the reporting office/working location
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time
- Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary:
- London: From £57,094 per annum
- Regional: From £49,502 per annum
Salary dependent on experience.
