The Role
The global asset manager is hiring a Portfolio Manager to join its Structured Credit team in London on a hybrid basis. The role sits within the Secured Finance department and focuses on analysing and risk managing structured finance investments across the capital structure, from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.
Likely Focus
- Portfolio construction and management of ABS funds investing globally.
- Modelling and evaluating investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, RMBS, and other structured credit asset classes.
- Generating and recommending relative value trade ideas.
- Constructing ABS portfolios based on individual client requirements.
- Presenting analysis to support senior team members in making investment decisions.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Risk, and the Investment Committee.
- Supporting broader investment opportunities and investment management activities for the Secured Finance Group as required.

Expected Profile
- Extensive experience at an asset management firm or bank.
- Demonstrated track record in portfolio management of ABS portfolios.
- Strong investment analysis background within ABS markets across a range of asset classes.
- Experience in structured finance preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel modelling and VBA.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and Intex.
- Highly quantitative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and taking direction as required.
- Interest in how technology, including AI tools, can support investment processes and client outcomes.
