Job Description
As a Portfolio Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the effective management of Riverside's supported housing portfolio, working closely with managing agents and internal stakeholders to ensure services are safe, compliant, financially sustainable, and customer focused. You will monitor service performance, oversee contractual and compliance requirements, manage risks, support income and occupancy targets, and build positive relationships with partners to deliver high-quality housing and support outcomes for customers.
You will play a key role in ensuring schemes operate in line with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and contractual obligations, while identifying opportunities for service improvement and value for money. Strong communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as the role involves working collaboratively with agents, local authorities, commissioners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Monitoring the performance of managed services and contractual compliance.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with managing agents and stakeholders.
- Supporting financial performance, occupancy levels, and income collection.
- Identifying and managing operational and compliance risks.
- Reviewing service quality and driving continuous improvement.
- Supporting governance, regulatory, and contract management activities.
- Ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality accommodation and services.
