Your new company
Your new company is a well-established international insurer operating within the London Market. Due to continued growth and increasing operational complexity, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced insurance operations professional to join a specialist technical function supporting a diverse portfolio of business.
Your new role
Working closely with underwriting, claims and operational stakeholders, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of insurance and reinsurance contracts, ensuring the accuracy of underwriting and accounting data, supporting cashflow activities and maintaining high standards of operational governance.
A key aspect of the role will involve managing relationships with external service providers, monitoring performance, resolving complex issues and helping to drive continuous improvement across operational processes. You will also support regulatory and audit requirements, provide oversight of portfolio activity and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure service standards, controls and business objectives are achieved.

This position offers a broad mix of technical accounting, underwriting support, portfolio oversight and operational management responsibilities within a collaborative and highly visible environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous experience within a London Market insurance or reinsurance environment, ideally gained within technical accounting, underwriting administration, portfolio management or insurance operations. Experience supporting Energy business will be highly advantageous.
You will possess a strong understanding of insurance administration processes, settlements and operational controls, alongside excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong Excel skills are essential, whilst exposure to reporting and data analytics tools would be beneficial.
