About the role
Help turn project updates and performance data into meaningful insight across a £600m+ capital programme in our East Region.
You’ll work closely with project and programme teams to understand how investment is progressing, bring together the story behind the data, and give leaders the insight they need to make informed decisions.
Why this role matters
Our East region covers strategically important infrastructure, including seven compressor stations and Bacton Gas Terminal, alongside a significant programme of capital investment.
You’ll provide the link between project teams, sponsors, and senior leaders, building a clear picture of portfolio performance. By understanding what’s happening across our projects and translating information into meaningful insight, you’ll help identify emerging issues, support better decisions, and strengthen confidence in delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
