Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

  • Product Portfolio and Lifecycle Management: Ability to manage products and SKUs through every stage of their lifecycle, including launch, ongoing performance, EPD changes, phasing out and discontinuation. This includes recommending transition timings based on forecasts, inventory positions, commercial priorities and supply implications.
  • S&OP Process Coordination and Governance: Ability to coordinate a structured Sales and Operations Planning cycle, ensuring meetings, inputs, decisions, actions and documentation are completed according to the agreed cadence. This includes monitoring process effectiveness, onboarding participants and escalating gaps or blockers to the S&OP Process Owner.
  • Data Analysis and Commercial Insight: Ability to interpret product performance, ranking, demand, inventory and supply-chain data and turn it into clear recommendations. A strong candidate should understand measures such as stock turns, SKU productivity, portfolio categorisation and forecast or inventory risk, rather than simply producing reports.
  • Project and Change Management: Ability to plan and coordinate product changes—such as reformulations, packaging updates, SKU changes and product transitions—across critical timelines. This includes identifying dependencies and risks, maintaining action plans and ensuring changes are implemented with minimal disruption to supply or the business.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Ability to build effective working relationships and align stakeholders across NPD, Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply, Inventory, Regulatory and regional teams. This requires influencing without direct authority, resolving conflicting priorities and ensuring stakeholders provide timely and accurate inputs.
  • Meeting Facilitation and Process Improvement: Ability to run decision-focused Product Review and S&OP meetings, including setting agendas, preparing pre-reads, clarifying decisions, tracking actions and escalating unresolved issues. It also includes documenting, evaluating and continuously improving lifecycle, change-management and S&OP processes.
